Two days ago this wee one turned ten months. I can't even tell you how much I adore her. At nine months she started crawling and now she's zooming around everywhere, pulling herself up on anything, and cruising.
She says mama.
Claps and waves.
Says the "uh" out of "uh oh" after she does something naughty.
Drops or throws things on the floor and likes watching you pick it up. Over. And over. And over.
This past month we left her and Charlotte with my parents in Washington while we headed to Guam and the Philippines.
I had to get shots and take a typhoid vaccine before heading out so I had to wean her which made us both sad.
I wasn't nervous about dropping her off because I knew my family would take great care of them, but I was so sad. These two are my buddies.
Anytime we had wifi we'd get all of these pictures CLEARLY showing Jane doing just fine without me.
She especially bonded with my mom who put her to bed every night and watched her for the majority of the time.
When I came back Jane was a little skeptical of me and would cry for my mom when I held her!!! How rude! That lasted a few hours until I reminded her of who birthed her :)
When I flew home yesterday she said goodbye to my mom at the airport and bawled as my mom walked away. They're kindred spirits.
She's still happy.
Still easy.
Still sleeps thru the night.
Takes two naps.
Eats people food.
Babbles.
Is VERY mobile which is a little hard.
And SO scrumptious I almost want to wake her up to snuggle and smooch. Almost.
