our halloween

Charlotte changed her mind many times this year as to who/what she wanted to be. First it was a ladybug. Then a witch (from Enchanted), a scary bat, a cat, a witch (from Snow White), then the house from UP.
With balloons and all.
Then she veered back to a witch.
Thankfully.

 at the church's Halloween party
above: she couldn't decide to be the Snow White witch with the apple or Wizard of Oz witch with a green face... so she was both
of course there isn't a picture of me.
I was also a witch. With a sweet huge hat.
above: at her preschool party where she decorated a mini jack-o-lantern pizza, colored, listened to a story, played games, and danced

 with Sir Henry
and here's Brimley... our little oompa loompa. isn't he delicious?
3 pals ready to conquer the neighborhood
 poor Charlotte was layered thickly
I'm not a huge Halloween fan, but once I saw Charlotte with her tiny friends run and skip to each house saying "twick oh tweat" I was converted.

met up with another preschool buddy, the Hulk, while out and about

Ben was on call so we headed to his hospital to drop off goodies to his coworkers. Charlotte brought her broom and was "flying" in circles in the lobby while we waited for the doctor. One of his fellow residents nicely took his pager for 30 minutes so he could slip out and trick or treat with us at a local neighborhood.

Good ending to a good day.
