Thank you! from Charlotte

So this girl has finally recovered from surgery - hallelujah! No more crying and asking for "nedicine" in the middle of the night or whining constantly (well, more than usual =)

She doesn't snore anymore and she breathes throughout the night without suffocating herself with her ginormous tonsils.

We wanted to say thank you to SO many people who sent her or dropped off gifts. Our elderly next door neighbor even went to our little ice cream parlor and got her a pint of sherbet. We had people from church drop off popsicles and get well cards. And she had so many presents come in the mail like her Minnie Mouse jewelry (below) that NanaMoo from Texas sent her. She got movies, coloring books, sticker books, cartoon bandaids, suckers, and many get well cards. It seemed like each day she would have something new to open. It definitely would help snap her out of feeling gross and groggy when she had a new toy or movie to distract her. Every time someone stopped by or we'd open a gift she'd say "Oh! Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow." She also got lots of phone calls daily of people checking on her and saying hi to her over the phone. 

So thank you to everyone that helped make her feel special.

 and below is more about Ben's birthday... his most favorite hoodie I got him... the superb key lime pie I made for him (not that I want to toot my own horn or anything, but...)... the shirt and hat my sister Laura sent him... he was one happy birthday boy.
