first easter egg hunt

A few weekends ago we went to our local park for an Easter egg hunt. They separated this huge soccer field into age groups and had one for 2 years and under which was perfect. Most of those kids didn't know what was going on and it was more for their parents... like us =) She just wanted to suck on the eggs, but it was fun either way.

admiring the eggs that Mom picked out because they matched my outfit... hehe

waiting to push all of the other babies out of my way!

first cereal

I have a lot of catching up to do. I finally downloaded pictures to my computer and it was a whopping 550 (from about two weeks... =) and that doesn't include many from Ben's phone or my sister's camera we borrowed when our battery died. Anywho, I've got to take this catching up one day at a time.
At Charlotte's four month check up the doctor said we could get her going on rice cereal for a week or two and then slowly add in baby food. So far we've done the baby cereal, sweet potatoes for a week, and we just started peas. So far she loves it all. Below is her first time trying out cereal.
"What is Mom mixing over there...? You want me to eat that?!"
"Oh, alright. I'll give it a shot..."
"Here I go..."
"Ugh, I'm not so sure about that... I just might throw up..."
"Oh what the heck, let's give it another go."

four month check up

Since we'll be out of town next week when Charlotte officially turns four months, we went to her appointment today. She weighed 13 lbs 12 oz (61st percentile) and was 24 3/4" (75th percentile) long. She had more shots =( and had the saddest scream/cry. This time Ben held her little arms down and I sat in the back. It's so fun to see her grow and learn. She is the happiest little baby and we are madly in love with her.
Waiting for her visit.
After she was weighed and measured the nurse gave her the cutest and softest teddy bear that she LOVED (see below video).
Buds.
This is one of her pediatricians, Dr. Shahid. We LOVE him. He is the kindest man who really listens and takes his time. Last time we saw him he was bald because he did a Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca in December and I guess they shave their heads at some point during that time. Ben worked with him when he was doing his pediatric rotation and suggested him to be Charlotte's doctor. We also have another doctor, Dr. Judy, that we see if Dr. Shahid's schedule is full. We love her too.
He got really shy when we asked if they could take a picture together but was so adorably smiley with her.
